The Role

As Financial Officer, you will be primarily responsible for client administration, transaction monitoring , and financial administration for your clients portfolio. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in handling legal and compliance matters, particularly related to fund structures under the AIFM light regime / EuVECA. This role is essential in strengthening the team and expanding services for our (new) clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the client accounting of your client portfolio;
  • Responsible for transaction monitoring of your client companies;
  • Bookkeeping, preparation annual- and interim accounts;
  • Preparation and review tax returns;
  • Reporting to the Dutch Central Bank;
  • Responsible for the maintenance and development of good contacts with clients, banks, external advisers;
  • Assist in legal and compliance matters related to fund structures.

Qualifications and other requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent;
  • A completed degree in chartered accountancy (RA) or (CPA) is a plus;
  • Work experience with a corporate service provider (Trust industry), financial services industries or accounting firms;
  • Experience with funds under the AIFM light regime / EuVECA is a plus;
  • Strong proficiency in Excel;
  • Excellent English language skills. A good command of the Dutch language is preferable;
  • Pro-active, enthusiastic, great sense of responsibility, an eye for detail and great organizational skills: you are an approachable person and a real team player.
